Angela Chase began her radio career in 2005 as a promo girl for Live 105.3 before landing her first on-air gig on the smooth jazz station The Oasis.  Angela's love of rock music eventually led her to 97.1 The Eagle, where she hosted Loud and Local; 102.1 The Edge, alongside fellow RAD Radio compadres Torrez and Jessie; and 100.3 Jack FM, where she hosted a ’90s-themed show called Whatever Nevermind.  She also spent years helping listeners navigate DFW traffic on various stations before eventually serving as the lead afternoon drive traffic anchor on KRLD.
Now Angela Chase is back behind a microphone at RAD Radio, surrounded by familiar voices and playing the music she probably would have been listening to anyway.

Fun Stuff!

Favorite band: Angela is a massive grunge fan, with Alice In Chains taking the top spot and Mother Love Bone as a close contender.

Favrite live music venue: For concerts, she prefers smaller venues like the House of Blues and Granada Theater, but Starplex will always be numero uno for larger venues.

Favorite DFW spots: Around DFW, you’re most likely to find her at Pilates or eating pizza and sipping rosé at Cane Rosso, St. Martin’s or Terilli’s. Otherwise, she is at home with her three fur children: Lady Alexandra Cannonbark, a Great Pyrenees; Lord Robert Pantley, a Chowsky; and Eddie Haskell, a Pomeranian.

Favorite Dallas team: Angela was once an Ice Girl for the Dallas Stars, so they are, of course, her favorite Dallas sports team, although beer will always be her favorite part of any sporting event.

Where you went to school: Angela grew up in Weatherford and graduated from Weatherford High School. Austin was a bit too weird for her, so after one year at UT, she transferred to UNT, where she graduated with a B.A. in Literature.  A passion for working with the elderly eventually led her to earn an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Woman's University.
